Node.js in Web Hosting
As Node.js is available on our advanced cloud platform, you will be able to add it to your shared hosting account and to use it for any web application that you have, regardless of which web hosting plan you have chosen during the registration process. The Upgrades menu in the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes bundled with all shared accounts, will allow you to select the number of instances that you’d like to run – this is the number of the web applications that will use Node.js. Several minutes afterwards, you will be able to specify the path to the app, i.e. the location of the .js file in your account, as well as to choose the IP address to obtain access to that file – a dedicated IP address or the server’s shared one. In the new Node.js section that will show up in the Control Panel, you’ll be able to restart an instance or to disable it in case you don’t require it anymore. You will also receive access to the output code with just one click of the mouse.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
You will be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-based software application running in a semi-dedicated server account, as the Node.js platform is available with all our semi-dedicated plans and you can set it up with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. In case you would like to use it for different Internet sites, you can activate more instances from the Upgrades section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The configuration is as simple as specifying the location of your .js file and choosing whether the Node.js platform should use a dedicated IP address or any of the physical server’s shared IP addresses, so you can take full advantage of Node.js even if you do not have any previous experience with such a software platform. Our system will also set a randomly generated port number that will be used to access the .js file for the specific app. Hepsia has a simple-to-navigate graphical interface that will allow you to reboot and to shut down any of your active instances, to add new ones or to check the output of your applications with just one click.
Node.js in VPS Servers
Node.js is available with all Hepsia hosting Control Panel-managed VPS hosting service that we’re offering and you can configure it without any obstacles, even if you have never used it before, as the Hepsia Control Panel offers an easy to work with, point-and-click graphical interface, which will permit you to do anything effortlessly. The Node.js platform can be used for as many script-powered software apps as you wish, so you can make the most of your sites by combining the power of our VPS servers with the performance offered by Node.js. You have to include the directory path to the .js file in your VPS account and to choose if it will use a dedicated IP or your virtual machine’s shared IP and you’ll be all set. Accessing the file will be possible using a port number that our system will set randomly when you set up a new Node.js instance. Hepsia will give you full control over all instances and, with only one click of the mouse, you will be able to start, to remove or to reboot them, as well as to check the output of each app that uses the platform.
Node.js in Dedicated Servers
If you decide to use any of our dedicated service for your script-based apps and if you select the Hepsia hosting Control Panel during the order procedure, you’ll be able to use Node.js at no extra charge, since this event-driven platform is available in our custom-built tool. Since our servers are incredibly powerful, you’ll get excellent results even if you use lots of Node.js instances simultaneously. The configuration requires a couple of clicks and Hepsia’s user interface will make it quite easy for you to create a new Node.js instance even if you have little or no prior experience. Indicating the path to the .js file and selecting a dedicated or a shared IP will be everything that you will have to do yourself and once our system has designated a port number to access this file, you’ll be all set. Any of the Node.js instances that you have created can be rebooted or deactivated independently and you will have access to a comprehensive output log for each of the applications that use the Node.js platform.
